A thin tri-blend sleeve behaves differently from a heavyweight hoodie sleeve, especially around seams.

Long-sleeve designs are often placed along the forearm or running vertically down the sleeve.

The key is to use garment landmarks rather than guessing. Lay the shirt flat with the sleeve extended. Find the sleeve hem, the shoulder seam, and the center of the outer sleeve panel. Position the artwork in relation to those points, then repeat the same measurement on every garment in the run.

For a left-chest logo paired with a sleeve print, check the shirt from the front before pressing. A sleeve design that faces outward while the shirt is flat can rotate toward the front when worn. This matters most with text, logos, and directional graphics.
