Direct to Film (DTF) transfers are designs printed on film and applied to compatible fabric using a heat press. They work well for apparel such as T-shirts, hoodies, uniforms and fabric bags.

DTF works on many cotton, polyester and blended fabrics. Test a sample first on specialty, coated or heat-sensitive materials and follow the application instructions supplied with your order.

Yes. A heat press gives the consistent heat and pressure needed for reliable DTF application. Follow the press and peel instructions provided with your order.

Follow the application and care instructions supplied with your transfer. In general, turn garments inside out, wash cool and avoid harsh bleach. Proper pressing and garment care help the design last.

UV DTF transfers are full-color decals designed for clean, smooth hard surfaces. They can be used for items such as tumblers, glass, acrylic, metal and suitable plastic.

No. UV DTF transfers are applied to a clean, dry, smooth hard surface without a heat press. Follow the application instructions included with your order.

For DTF, a high-resolution PNG with a transparent background at the final print size is a good choice. Print-ready PDF files may also be accepted. Check the upload instructions on the specific product page before ordering.

Aim for 300 DPI at your intended print size. Enlarging a small image will not improve its detail. Contact us if you need help checking a file.
